Alison has enjoyed working in private practice for nearly 20 years, and provides all aspects of general dental practice. She particularly enjoys Minimally Interventive dentistry, which helps to conserve as much of your own teeth as possible, and providing holistic care. She also has experience in adult orthodontics and aesthetics.
She endeavours to ensure all her patients are treated in a caring and gentle manner, helping patients to be comfortable and informed throughout.
Away from the practice Alison embraces the Cornish lifestyle, where she is most often found on the beach with her husband, daughter and dog. She also enjoys gig rowing and paddle boarding.
Dentist
BDS (Glas) 2000
GDC No. 77600
Kate graduated from Glasgow Dental School with Honours in 2000. After 7 years 'cutting her teeth' in Portsmouth she returned to her home town in Dunfermline as a private dentist. She considers cosmetic dentistry, including free-hand composite bonding and veneers to be her favourite aspect of dental treatment but it is the face to face interaction with patients that she finds the most satisfying part of the job. Taking an anxious patient and transforming their smile can transform their life. And getting someone out of pain is rewarding for patient and dentist!
Kate moved from Scotland to Cornwall with her family in 2016 and has been a part of the Manor House team since. She is still discovering new beaches to explore with her two children and dog.
